ADA-09154 Proposal to Amend a State Airport Land Lease at Homer Airport

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to change the authorized uses of Lease ADA-09154, Lot 1, Block 600, consisting of approximately 12,424 square feet, at Homer Airport for an additional four years. Applicant: Airborne Scientific, Inc. Annual rent: $2223.90. Authorized uses: Aeronautical- continued operation and maintenance of a building, placement of one 42’x20’x12’ fabric passenger waiting shelter, two floatplane docks with two floatplane tiedown rental spaces each for a total of four tiedowns, associated vehicle parking, parking of a 500-gallon mobile fueler, and fuel sales.This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease amendment without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., August 31, 2022, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease.
