REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Study within the Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) IndustryThe U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Office of Safety Innovation, Applied Research Division is planning a study of the prevalence of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment (SASH) among the Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) industry.FMCSA is currently in the initial process of awarding a non-personal services contractor task order to conduct a study on the prevalence of sexual assault and sexual harassment (SASH) within the commercial motor vehicle (CMV) industry. The overall goal of this project is to understand and quantify the prevalence and severity of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment (SASH) experienced across the commercial motor vehicle (CMV) industry, particularly among drivers. FMCSA seeks information on how best to design and conduct a study to identify, categorize, and assess context and trends of SASH in
the CMV industry. FMCSA has drafted the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO) and Technical Questions but requests clarification/input from our industry partners.Please provide responses to the questions/clarifications and submit a technical capability statement which clearly demonstrates your firm's ability to meet the government’s requirement.Please include the following information in your capability statement:Company name, DUNS number, company mailing address, point of contact information (One person's name, telephone number and e-mail address).Company's applicable socioeconomic status and available contract ordering vehicles (include contract numbers, if GSA Schedule, also include Special Identification Number (SIN)), OASIS Pool, GWAC, if available.Feedback, Questions, Concerns on the requirement’s draft PWS.The Contract Type with explanation (FFP, CR, LH) suggested for this requirement.Responses should be no longer than ten (10) pages, excluding cover page, single-spaced, with font no smaller than 12-point. Responses must be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist Borui Wang, Borui.wang@dot.gov, with a carbon copy to the Contracting Officer, Prattsie Artis, prattsie.artis@dot.gov.
