In selecting the underwriting team, and in particular, the senior manager, emphasis will be placed upon experience on similar financings for Texas school districts, history of service to the District and school districts around the state, local presence in the area and the State of Texas, proven distribution capability at a reasonable cost, capital structure, regulatory compliance and potential conflicts of interest. Once selected as qualified, the pool will be taken to the Board of Trustees for approval. Selected firms to the pool may be used for issuance of upcoming bond sales, but will not be guaranteed.
