EN24TKE030 – Blais South Bridge Maintenance Project Description :The proposed contract requires the maintenance and upgrade of bridge K1573 on Blais South FSR in the Seymour operating area in the Okanagan-Columbia Business Area. The contract will require a range of qualified professionals and technical staff working in various conditions including isolated areas. Activities will include site monitoring by a contractor supplied Environmental Monitor, removing and replacing the bridge decking/superstructure, repairing and installing new abutments/substructure, hauling and installing rip rap, and rebuilding approaches. Minor maintenance on the 1100/Seymour FSR and Blais South FSR will be required for industrial use – maintenance work is scheduled for August 2023 but may be impacted by the Bush Creek East wildfire. Contract deliverables will be planned for completion by November 15th, 2023 to meet the business area quarterly targets.
