The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine the availability of qualified skilled professionals that specialize in disinfecting, sanitizing, and infectious cleaning.Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic is specifically seeking 8(a) Small Businesses, HubZone Small Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Women Owned Small Businesses, Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Businesses, other Small Businesses, or large businesses with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capabilities to perform the proposed requirement. The Contractor shall clean and disinfect all frequently touched surfaces in common areas, e.g., cabinets, chairs, copiers, countertops, doors, doorknobs, handrails, ice machines, keyboards, light switches, microwave
ovens, monitors, phones, printers, refrigerators, shelving, shredders, tabletops, floors, walls, barracks rooms, mess halls (complete facility), and vending machines as required. Any designated area as directed by the contracting officer. A task order from the awarded contract will be issued upon request stating the area as the need occurs.Surfaces shall be cleaned prior to disinfection, as instructed on the disinfectant manufacturer’s label. The Contractor shall ensure adequate contact time for effective disinfection.Disinfect - To cleanse off microorganisms by application of a chemical agent, also sanitize.Sanitary - Free of microorganisms.Cleaning agents used shall be EPA approved for use against COVID-19. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 561790 and the annual size standard is $7,500,000.00.All Business concerns are encouraged to respond.
