The project will convert toll collection operations from All Electronic Toll (AET) collection at toll plazas to Open Road Tolling (ORT). The Project proposes to design, install, and operate a new toll system to support cashless tolling at highway speeds, also known as ORT. The expected benefits of ORT include increased safety, more efficient tolling,

decreased vehicle delay, and lower vehicle emissions. The Scope of Work for this Project includes design, development, procurement, furnishing, fabrication, testing, installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of a complete and fully functioning system (TOLL COLLECTION SYSTEM). The Project includes providing a complete, functioning electronic toll collection system that includes all necessary hardware, software, interfaces, electrical, and communications equipment, works in conjunction with the RCSC, and uses various technologies to facilitate toll collection.
