CLTWater is an enterprise department of the City of Charlotte with more than $3 billion in assets. CLTWater is one of the largest public water and sewer service providers in the southeast with more than 950 employees. CLTWater’s annual budget is approximately $450M including operating and debt service costs. Charlotte Water has the highest credit ratings from three major credit rating agencies because of sound financial planning & management and strong support from Charlotte City
