NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Eastern Region, Bureau of Indian Affairs, intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Frontier Communications of the Carolinas LLC, for the procurement of Local Phone Services for the Cherokee Agency under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. A search of telecommunication providers in the area was conducted to confirm that Frontier Communications is the only Local Phone Service provider servicing the facility. The period of performance will be one (1) base year with four (4) option years October 20, 2017- October 19, 2022. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 517110. Product Supply code (PSC): D399. Any capability statements, proposals, or quotations received by 05:00 pm Central Time on 11 August 2017 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
