The purpose of the prequalification is to identify and select experienced Proponents who will be invited to submit a bid on the proposed work for Well House K26 Upgrade Project and Well House K21/K21A Upgrade Project. These projects will be tendered as two
separate projects. The general scope of work included in this assignment includes: Obtaining necessary permits and inspections, including land ownership, building and demolish permits. Demolition of existing buildings and construction of new well houses to incorporate chemical, process and electrical rooms. Installation of new submersible well pumps and variable frequency drives (VFDs). Installation of chemical dosing pumps, free chlorine residual analyzer, storage tanks with ultrasonic level transmitter to meet maximum chlorine and flow demands. Installation of wasting lines, floor drains, and soak away pit. Installation of mechanical HVAC and plumbing systems of appropriate kind, size to fit its functions and needs. Installation of heating and ventilation system, including electric heaters, exhaust fans and intake louvers/dampers. Installation of flowmeter, analyzers, gauges, indicator, process piping and associated fittings, including process valves and actuators. L.
