OCCUPATIONAL TRAINING FCC FORREST CITY

The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Occupational Training Programs (Diesel Tech & HVAC Instructor) for inmates at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) located in Forrest City, Arkansas. The NAICS Code is 611210(Size Standard: $22.0 million). All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will provide services in accordance with the Statement of Work.  The contract must be between FCC Forrest City and a post-secondary institution, vocational training school or industry-based school. Typically, the contractor will provide services Monday through Friday, for 8 hours daily, between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, excluding Federal holidays; other days/hours may be implemented if

necessary to meet program requirements and these days/hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the institution. Any breaks in service, including lunch breaks, will be unpaid. (Specific dates for the classes will be determined by the Supervisor of Education and the contractor). Estimated annual students are approximately 40 for Diesel Tech & 20 for HVAC Instructors.A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
