AN41--Intent to Sole source services for data storage on diffusion MRI project Brighton & Women’s Hospital, Inc.

The Salt Lake City s Veterans Affairs Medical Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1, on services for data storage on diffusion MRI project with Brighton & Women s Hospital, Inc. These services will occur with base plus four option years, from 2023 to 2028. The purpose is to develop and test algorithms to harmonize the data acquired on multiple scanners. The usage of the appropriate measures for data acquired from both standard and advanced models of diffusion MRI. Suitable methods will be developed to validate the algorithms on unseen subjects. The derived data will include parameter maps, large tractography files as well as several intermediate files. The raw data and derived data will require substantial amount of space to be stored on the cluster storage solution with the sole source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Thursday, February 23, 2023, 4:00 PM, EST. However, those statements shall describe in detail how the vendor can meet or exceed the Veterans Affairs requirements. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the
