attend a no-host evening Welcome Social on Monday, August 14, 2017.  Time and place of the event will be provided after registration.  Registered Industry and Academia are invited to participate in the NAMTI Meeting on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM EST.  The Tuesday event will take place in the Alfred M. Gray Marine Corps Research Center, Main Auditorium located at: 2040 Broadway StreetQuantico, VA 22134 ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED TO U.S. CITIZENS ONLY There is no registration fee; however, pre-registration is required to attend this event.  No walk-ins will be permitted.The agenda will cover the DON's Additive Manufacturing (AM) Vision and Implementation Plan, Concept of Employment for AM, Qualification and Certification of AM components, Digital Infrastructure and Network Impacts, Maker Space/Fabrication Lab Development, Modified or New Acquisition Models to Fully Exploit Additive Manufacturing, and Development of Naval Expeditionary Printing Capabilities.  All briefings will be unclassified. All attendees shall be required to show either a Common Access Card (CAC), or proof of citizenship (U.S. Passport).  Attendance will be limited to the first 200 industry participants who pre-register.  A formal agenda will be provided to confirmed attendees. This exchange is for informational purposes only.  While there is no formal Program of Record for DON Additive Manufacturing, utilizing AM Technology has the potential to improve significantly DON system capabilities, readiness, and support.  NAMTI is interested in pursuing cooperative activities with industry to improve AM capabilities, develop AM standards, and accelerate utilization of AM across the DON Industrial Base. TO REGISTER:   Please go to, https://2017namtiregistration.eventbrite.com Contact Information: Kathleen Mullins, Email kathleen.mullins@usmc.mil Office Address :2200 Lester Street Quantico VA 22134 Location: MARCORSYSCOM Set Aside: N/A
