Site Feasibility Study for the Wolcott Schoolhouse

On behalf of the Wolcott Schoolhouse Revitalization Committee, the town of Wolcott is requesting proposal submittals from consulting firms that have experience working with historic sites. With ssistance from LCPC, the Wolcott Schoolhouse Committee is requesting proposals for a site feasibility study for the Wolcott Schoolhouse in Wolcott, Vermont. In the summer of 2022, the Wolcott Schoolhouse committee received a Robert Sincerbeaux Grant from the Preservation Trust of Vermont to assist in completing a conditions assessment. The assessment found that it is evident that the Wolcott Schoolhouse is a building worth rehabilitating and preserving given its historical significance to the Town of Wolcott and its architectural significance in the Wolcott School Street Historic District. An architectural feasibility study is currently underway at the site.
