Saint James Street Improvements

Work to be completed under this project consists of the improvements of St. James Street and portions of First and Second Street, within the Borough. The proposed improvements consist of approximately a total of 4,300 lineal feet of full depth asphalt pavement reconstruction, full depth concrete curb installation, sanitary sewer replacement, water main replacement, storm sewer replacement and associated site improvements as indicated in the contract documents. Bids for the Project will be received online through the PENNBID website at www.pennbid.net, until Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 2:00PM local time. Immediately following that time, a summary of bids received will be displayed on PennBid. All bids must be accompanied by a BID security in the amount of FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the amount of the base bid in the form, subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents, and submitted through PennBid. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the date of opening but may withdraw it any time prior to the scheduled closing time for reception of bids.PA Prevailing Wage is issued for this project.
