Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS Project:RFQP2022-3 – Comprehensive Transportation Plan Update Owner: Barrow County Board of Commissioners Sealed proposals will be received by the Barrow County Board of Commissioners, Winder, Georgia, for Transportation Planning Consulting Professional Services per the Atlanta Regional Commission for an Update to Barrow County’s Comprehensive Transportation Plan. Proposals will be received in the office of the Barrow County Board of Commissioners, Clerks Office, at 30 North Broad Street, Winder, Georgia 30680, until 12:00 Noon, Thursday, February 24, 2022. Any proposal received after said time and date, will not be considered by Owner. Proposals will be opened and read aloud in the Conference Room on the Main Floor at the above address at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022. All proposals will be evaluated and the project

will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 60 days of the proposal opening. Specifications are available on the Barrow County website (www.barrowga.org). Each sealed envelope containing a proposal must be plainly marked on the outside as “RFQP2022-3 QUALIFICATION-BASED PROPOSAL”. If a proposal is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the proposal must be enclosed in another envelope to the attention of the Owner at the address previously given and also plainly marked with “RFQP2022-3 QUALIFICATION-BASED PROPOSAL”. Owner reserves the right to waive any technicality or formality or to reject any or all proposals, to evaluate proposals, and to accept any proposal which, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the Owner.
