An indefinite quantity contract with a three year base period is anticipated. The total duration shall not exceed 3 years.
Items will be FOB Destination with Military Packaging as these items are not part of the First Destination Transportation and Packaging Initiative.
Items are for DLA Direct (Stocked) support.
The NSNs will have quantity ranges and delivery will be notated on the solicitation.
Unrestricted.
Items are code and Part Numbers. Currently the only approved source is (0UJ55) Optima Batteries, Inc. The approved Part numbers are:

The solicitation will be available on the Internet at
https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil under Requests for Proposal(RFP) on or around the solicitation date of December 20, 2018.
Based on Market research the Government will be using policies of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items.
While Price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final decision will be based on a combination of price, past performance, delivery and other factors listed in the solicitation.
