Option Exercise & Extension

 The HIC division is supported by ~10 Oasis PASS II contractors. Additional support is not anticipated during the extension period. These contractors provide highly specialized expertise in a variety of professional acquisition capabilities which cannot be obtained from the Government's current and limited organic resources. The types of services include but are not limited to a full spectrum of Acquisition Support, Project Management, Technical Evaluation, Master Planning and Scheduling, Source Selection, Training, Resource Management, Data Manager, and Administrative support. The acquisition advisory assistance and support services encompass all stages of systems life cycle from capability-based analysis and concept development through deployment, sustainment, and production activities.Given the level of expertise provided and current job knowledge, any break in service without sufficient overlap would be devastating to HIC and ultimately the warfighters they support. Any loss in PASS II contractor support would negatively impact the execution and schedule of initiatives supporting SAF/AQ, SAF/FM, SAF/A4, and Air Force Materiel Command, ultimately putting the mission and war-fighter at risk.
