Description:The project consists of supplying the labor, equipment, and material necessary at various locations for milling, concrete curb & gutter, PCC sidewalks, PCC driveways, PCC pavement, HMA resurfacing, storm sewer, street lighting & electrical, landscaping. Work also includes masonry or concrete building walls construction and vault abandonment.Additional Description:Primary funding for this project consists of a $3 million grant subject to DCEO Contract Requirements indicated beginning on page 29 of the Project Manual. Contractors must meet these requirements, among others, which include the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the Employment of Illinois Worker on Public Works Act, the Illinois Works Jobs Program Act, and the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) for Minorities, Females, and Persons with Disabilities, the Steel Products Procurement Act, and the Domestic Preferences for Procurements.
