CITY OF TEMPE, ARIZONA ENGINEERING AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT DIVISION OF ENGINEERING NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Wastewater Collection System Rehabilitation-2022 Project No. 3221022 ELECTRONIC BIDS all bids shall be emailed to engineering_bids@tempe.gov and must be received by 9:00 a.m. (Arizona time), November 30, 2022. At that time, bids will be electronically opened, the name of the bidder, the date and time the e-mail was received, and the amount of the bid will be publicly read online in an electronic meeting room. All Plan holders will be provided a link to this electronic meeting room the morning of the bid opening. Bids received after the time specified will not be read. The proposed work will consist of INSTALLING CURED-IN-PLACE-PIPE (CIPP) LINER INTO EXISTING SEWER PIPE, INSTALLING UV CURED PIPE PATCHES, OR REMOVE AND REPLACE SANITARY SEWER PIPE IN-KIND. SEWER FLOW WILL NEED TO BE DIVERTED AROUND THE WORK AREA THROUGH BYPASS OPERATIONS AT SOME LOCATIONS. THE RECOMMENDED METHOD FOR REHABILITATION OF MANHOLES CONSISTS OF REPAIRING POLYVINYL CHLORIDE (PVC) T-LOCK LINER, APPLYING EPOXY COATING TO THE MANHOLE INTERIOR INCLUDING THE BENCH, WALL, CONE AND CHIMNEY; INSTALLATION OF CORROSION RESISTANT STRUCTURAL MANHOLE INSERTS, AND REMOVE AND REPLACE FRAME AND COVER, CHIMNEY AND CONE, together with associated work.
