The purpose of this Invitation for BId (IFB) is to obtain bids for a contractor to apply a non-selective herbicide to the Salt Lake City School District properties/schools, Salt Lake City, Utah per the specifications, terms and conditions contained herein.  The scope of work is provided on Attachment D.  The list of schools and locations are provided on Attachment C.  Vendors are welcome to visit each school as deemed necessary to fully understand the scope of the project.  No SLCSD employee will be available to accompany a vendor on any site visit.  Alternatively, bidders can access property information using Google Earth or any other application available.

to the Q&A cut-off time which is 2:00 pm on June 14, 2021.

   
Be sure to fill out the SLCSD RFQ form with your company's information.  Failure may result in your quote being rejected.


Quotes must be received by the posted due date and time.  Quotes received after the deadline will be late and ineligible for consideration.  Facsimile transmitted bids will not be accepted.


Please note the work description in the item section of this solicitation.  Bids are to be submitted in the form of a linear-foot price.  Award will be based on that price.  A purchase order will be awarded with an estimated not-to-exceed amount to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder.  Payments against the purchase order will be made based on the linear-foot price multiplied by the total linear feet receiving the herbicide application.



Because of COVID-19, no hard copy quotes are acceptable at this time.  Please submit your quote using this BidSync electronic system.  
 
  Description:
Provide all chemicals and other materials, equipment and labor to apply a non-selective herbicide to SLCSD schools per the specifications, terms and conditions contained herein.  

The linear-foot bid must include any anticipated travel, mobilization and other costs.  Price shall also include any manufacturer's standard warranty above and beyond the one-year warranty noted in the SLCSD terms and conditions (Attachment A).
