Solicitation Description: The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (the “University”), acting through the University’s Office of the Associate Vice President for Facilities Planning & Operations, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors ("Respondents") sometimes referred to as “Contractor” for selection to provide the Construction of a New 17,149 GSF single story building with MRI, Vivarium , lab and office suite for Center for Human Genetics. Building will be constructed on the Brownsville Campus between the old cotton gin structure and the Luis V Colom Building. The construction will include site utilities work and landscaping and hardscape. Contractor will be required to remove the existing boiler and the replacement with a new one, including all related connections. Mechanical Engineering plans and Specifications have been prepared by TreanorHL, Inc..
