Port Buena Vista Watermain Extension

The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for Port Buena Vista Watermain Extension. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, extension of an 8” watermain along SR207 and connecting to the water distribution system serving Port Buena Vista, approximately 13,500 LF of watermain with associated fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances. Installation will include two (2) horizontal directional drills within the FDOT right-of-way. Base Bid The Base Bid portion of this project will consist of furnishing all material and labor to install approximately 12,700 lf of 8” PVC watermain within the right-of-way of SR207, CR207A, Federal Point Road, and Dancy Avenue along with fire hydrants, stub outs, and all associated appurtenances. Installation will require horizontal directional drilling, open cut of roadways and driveways, and crossings of multiple stormwater pipes. Ancillary activities includes traffic control, driveway and roadway pavement repair, flushing and testing, dewatering, erosion control, and other incidentals necessary to complete the work. Bid Alternate #1 Bid Alternate #1 includes installation of 10” watermain instead of 8” within the rights-of-way of SR207, CR207A, and Federal Point Road. This includes upsizing of all directional drills and fittings as necessary to facilitate the larger
