We hereby request that your company submit a Formal Bid Package for this project as more fully described in the attached solicitation. ELECTRONIC BIDS with all fully executed bid submission documentation necessary will be accepted by the Department of Parks & Recreation's (DPR) Gold Fields District until 10 a.m. on APRIL 19, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read over conference call. Bids must be submitted electronically with all necessary fully executed documentation attached in a Portable Document Format (PDF) via email at: ContractBidReceipt.GoldFields@parks.ca.gov. Bid submission time will be as of the electronic time stamp associated with when the electronic submission was received. Submissions with attached PDF documentation in excess of 10 Megabytes in size risk being rejected and can be deemed nonresponsive. DPR will provide an individual electronic email response confirming
receipt of each submission received. If a confirmation receipt is not received within 30-minutes of submission, please contact Holly Welch at Holly.Welch@parks.ca.gov or Jill Brandt at Jill.Brandt@parks.ca.gov to confirm receipt of your bid. Confirmation receipt is not a representation by DPR that the submitted bid is responsive and complete. Bidders shall ensure that the electronic submission contains the attachment, that the documents are fully executed, responsive and lack any deficiency and are directed to the appropriate email address (ContractBidReceipt.GoldFields@parks.ca.gov) without error. Failure to do so risks the bid being deemed nonresponsive. It is recommended that Bidders submit bids at least an hour in advance of the bid submission deadline to allow for confirmation of bid submission. Bids will be opened publicly over conference-call, 1-877-399-7339, Participant Code: 61796097. Bids shall be submitted for performing the following work: Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to rehabilitate the Grizzly Bear Firing Range at Auburn State Recreation Area. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of lead from range berms, removal and replacement of geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) within impact berms, repair of lower backstop system, reinstallation of French drain system, restoration of berms to existing specification. New material (sand and/or soil) may be necessary to augment existing on-site materials for proper restoration of berm grade and slope following mitigation. Contractor shall adhere to best management and safety practices for lead abatement as recognized by the California Department of Public Health and the United States Environmental Protection Agency throughout the entire project which is located at 15540 Foresthill Road, Foresthill, Placer County, California 95631, complete and make ready for immediate use. All work shall be complete and performed in accordance with the contract documentation and specifications; therefore, and such addenda thereto may be issued prior to the bid opening date for stipulated sums which shall include all applicable taxes and other expenses. Contractor shall also perform other miscellaneous work required for completion of the project described above. This will be the Bidder's only opportunity to view the site with State Park Personnel. PLEASE NOTE: No bid will be considered from a Prime Contractor that did not attend the ENTIRE MADATORY JOB WALK. CONTRACT TERM: Upon Notice to Proceed through One Year. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: 30 Calendar Days From Notice to Proceed. Bidder agrees to complete all work within 30 Days from the date of the written Notice to Proceed. This includes ten (10) calendar days allowed for the Contractor to begin work.
