The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, by on and behalf of the University of Georgia (the “University”), will receive sealed bids from interested bidders for the sale of the Red Bud Farm, located on Nesbitt Loop, Resaca, Georgia in Gordon County.
Bids must be received by 1:00 PM EST on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 1280 South Lumpkin Street, University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia (30606, if hand delivered) (30602, if mailed). Bidders may elect to instead submit a bid electronically (via submittal of a PDF of the Bid Form) to Eric Orbock (eorbock@uga.edu).
At the time and place noted above, the bids will be publicly opened and announced.
The Red Bud Farm (the “Property”) is an approximately 653 acre property located on the south side of Nesbitt Loop in Resaca, Gordon County, Georgia. The Property is divided into two separate tracts.
Interested bidders may tour the Property at the

All submitted bids shall include the bidder’s proposed modifications to the PSA, along with any broker fees (not to exceed 3% of the purchase price) to be paid by the University. All bids will be publicly opened and announced at the aforementioned time and location. The University does not intend to utilize a subsequent “best and final” offer process. A bid submitted as described above should reflect that bidder’s best and final offer.
The University reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to accept the bid that it determines to be the most advantageous and to reject any or all bids for any reason. The University also reserves the right to set a minimum price for which the Property may be sold, to waive any or all formalities, informalities, or technicalities in the bidding or the bids, and to evaluate, in its sole discretion, the responsibility of the bidder.
