The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP/Solicitation/Event) is to accept offers and contract with a vendor to provide REGULAR and TREATED crushed rock salt (sodium chloride) – for road use for the 2023-2024 Season. The Solicitation is for the following service and is divided into two Customer groups: A. Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) –

Regular Delivery Service. MnDOT has its own separate Excel Price Schedules, one for regular salt and one for treated salt. B. Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) Members and other State agencies – Regular Delivery Service. There are two separate Excel Price Schedules for CPV members, one for regular salt and one for treated salt. The rock salt requirements for both MnDOT and CPV member locations are listed separately to allow responders to offer pricing by individual location and road salt type PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING: A pre-proposal meeting will take place on Microsoft® Teams on April 26, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Responders must register by sending an email to karen.mcintyre@state.mn.us at least 48 hours prior to the Pre-Proposal meeting to receive the TEAMs Meeting Invitation. QUESTIONS.
