This project includes the implementation of a comprehensive set of traffic-calming measures aimed at addressing the issue of speeding within the River Oaks Neighborhood. Installation of nineteen (19) speed cushions Addition of marked crosswalks for pedestrians. Installation of two (2) speed radar signs on SW 15th from SR 84 to SW 20th Street (optional). Placement of 'STOP AHEAD' pavement markings on SW 18th Ave and SW 20th Street to improve visibility and allow advance warning to drivers

at the approach. Installation of rumble strips at the intersection of SW 18th Ave and SW 24th Street. Pavement marking plans to conform to Broward County Traffic Engineering Division (BCTED) specifications. Drawing Plans: This Project consists of thirteen (13) Drawing Sheets. Drawing plans may be obtained free of charge at the City’s online strategic sourcing platform. Licensing Requirements:Possession of a State of Florida General Contractor License, a Broward County General Contractor Certificate of Competency, or a 3A Major Roads (Asphalt and Concrete Paving for Interstate, Primary, Secondary, and Arterial Roadways and Airports and Work Incidental Thereto) is required for this Project. ***IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITH THE CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE*** READ BELOW The Procurement Services Division has “GONE LIVE” with a new supplier registration and strategic sourcing system. All current and future suppliers must now register in INFOR to receive electronic notifications of sourcing events/solicitations, such as an informal quote, Invitation to Bid, Request for Proposals, or Request for Qualifications.
