The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price Bid/Build Construction Type Contract in the third quarter of calendar year 2024. The successful offeror shall provide complete design and construction services, contract coordination, and supervision, including but not limited to the design, management and construction necessary to meet the requirements of this contract within the established timeframe. The United States Department of State (DOS) Facility Management Office (FAC) requires construction services for a Compound Emergency Sanctuary at a warehouse Zona Industrial, U.S. Embassy Bogotá Short project scope description: The intent of this Work is to: work is a construction project of Compound Emergency Sanctuary (CES) in the Existing Warehouse at the “Zona Industrial Montevideo, Bogotá” provided by the U.S. The area of this project is 53.82 m2 and has been calculated for 22 people. It is located in the Southeast area of the
warehouse building. Before any construction activity, the General Contractor shall confirm the existing conditions, produce a set of Construction Drawings, and report any discrepancies with the existing designs/drawings. The project work includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: Demolition of existing wall for exit door opening Construction of concrete walls (15-Minute Forced Entry Protection), including foundations, at the perimeter of the CES. Construction of concrete roof slab (15-Minute Forced Entry Protection). Provide and install two (2) Forced Entry, Ballistic Resistant (FEBR) doors. Interior finishes for entire area, including furniture and cafeteria equipment. Construction of generator ́s room. Provide and install backup generator 125 KVA and ATS 400Amp. Provide and install Electrical System including Grounding, power and lighting. Provide and install dedicated fire Alarm System with provision to connect existing FACP. Provide and install Air Conditioning System (5TR); and Ventilation System (1400 CFM). Provide and install Hydraulic System for water supply and drainage. Pursuant to Subpart 36.204 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the estimated magnitude for the entire project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 U.S. Dollars (Note: the prescribed FAR range determinations provide relatively wide ranges only, in order to give potential offerors a very general orientation as to the magnitude of the work. However, the specified range is not meant to give any indication as to the Independent Government Cost Estimate for this project, which could be at the lower or the upper end of the range indicated). The solicitation package/documents shall NOT be placed on Sam.gov as the document contains SBU information. Only companies submitting a letter of interest shall receive a copy of the solicitation package/documents when available. Additionally, you are required to complete and include in your expression of interest the below checklist (Page 3). All requests for the solicitation document that are submitted without the checklist, or with an incomplete checklist, will be rejected. Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform work in Colombia. The solicitation package will only be available in the English language. All requirements for translations will be at the expense of the Contractor. Solicitation and award will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States of America. NOTE: Registration in the US System for Award Management (SAM) database is mandatory to be considered for award.
