Back to List State of Iowa Bid Opportunities Bid Information Bid Number 23CRDFRBPGRIF-0001 Solicitation SOIL FUMIGATION Solicitation Type Request for Quotes County Description Description Statement of Work Perform soil fumigation at the State Forest Nursery in Ames up to twice a year, as funding allows, using methyl bromide and chloropicrin products according to Federal and State law. The rate to be applied is 325 lb/acre using varying percentages of methyl bromide and chloropicrin, depending on the needs of the 4 individual fields. All fields shall be covered using totally impervious film that will be installed by the contractor. Equipment must be able to accommodate the DNR’s irrigation system which is spaced at 62’ widths. All meals and lodging will be paid for by the contractor. Desired start date for the application will be as early as possible between August 1, 2022 and October 1, 2022.
