The Project is located north of Vermillion, South Dakota at the Lewis & Clark Water Treatment Plant (31474 SD Hwy 19). Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System office located at 1800 Monty Street, Tea, SD 57064, until March 21, 2024 not later than 2:00 PM local time (our clock). At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.Pre-Bid Meeting Info:A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on March 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM local time at the Lewis & Clark Water Treatment Plant located at 31474 SD Hwy 19, north of Vermillion, South Dakota. points. Two solids contact basins equipped with mechanisms, 85 ft. diameter with 20 ft. side water depth. Chemical feeding and handling systems for:  3rd Lime Slaker  Conversion of existing chlorination system to a gas system  Add aqueous ammonia storage tank and pumps  Powdered activated carbon system • Construction of an addition to the existing maintenance shop. • Construction of a second gravity sludge thickener. • Site work including:  Excavation and finish grading  Repair and replacement (in kind) of existing access roads and parking areas  Required site piping  Drainage improvements  Seeding as needed for erosion control • Process instrumentation and control systems. • Security systems. • Fill to capacity each new chemical storage tank or unit prior to start-up. • Topsoil placement, reclamation, seeding, clean-up, startup, and all other miscellaneous work required, not herein mentioned, but inferred from the construction Contract Documents.
