TBRL Virtual Immersive Environment Sources SoughtThe U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey, on behalf of U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Armaments Center (CCDC AC), Quality Engineering & System Assurance Division (QE&SA), Tactical Behavior Research Laboratory (TBRL) at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is conducting market research to determine the capability of businesses to provide projectors with very-high resolution and screens for a Virtual Reality facility that will be used for research. The components include Projectors, Screens, Mounting hardware, and Cabling, as well as operating hardware. Performance requirements include: 4k WUXGA resolution, self stitching projectors, two 8 screen rooms in an octagon configuration, color matching screens, Screens must be easy to setup and remove, Screens must allow entrance into each octagon shaped room. The octagon rooms will used to conduct human-in-the-loop testing in a Virtual Reality space. The measurements in the
attached diagram are in inches.BACKGROUND:The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 333316 Photographic and Photocopying Equipment Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees. The Product Service Code is 6730 Photographic Projection Equipment (Projectors, Screens, Associated Equipment). Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement.SUBMISSION DETAILS: Each potential source is requested to provide the contract number(s), dollar value(s) and brief description of work previously or currently being performed, which specifically demonstrates the contractor's ability to successfully satisfy the requirements.
