Description NOTICE TO RESPONDENTS Solicitation Type and Name: Request for Proposals for Aviation Marketing and Creative Consulting Services.  Solicitation Number: 09-21-S53-107 Description: The City of McAllen is soliciting proposals from consultants to provide Aviation Marketing & Creative Consulting Services for the McAllen International Airport (MIA). Requested services include: Brand Strategy Creative & Campaign Planning; Media Buy Management, Production, Social Media & Digital Management, Graphic Design and Special Event Support.Proposal Submittal Deadline: Proposals addressed to Mr. Roel “Roy” Rodriguez P.E., City Manager, will be received until Thursday, September 02, 2021 at 3:00 or p.m., Central Daylight Time (CDT).   All proposals are only to be submitted electronically through the City of McAllen’s bidding portal: https://mcallen.procureware.com, on or before the aforementioned date

and time.   Original, hard copy, and/or late proposals shall not be accepted.  Pre-Submittal Conference McAllen International Airport, Board Room, 2500 S. Bicentennial Blvd., McAllen, TX 78503 on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. CDT.   All prospective respondents are encouraged to be in attendance. To view this solicitation and submit a proposal, you must first register in the City’s bidding portal at https://mcallen.procureware.com.   Solicitation documents will not be mailed, e-mailed, or provided in person. Once registered, you will also be added to the solicitation distribution list for changes and/or additions via Addenda form. Potential respondents are asked to post their questions on our bidding portal under the tab labeled “Clarifications” under the relative project number. The City of McAllen reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all proposals and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities, or to accept the proposal considered the best value to the City, and to hold the proposals for a period of ninety ( 90) calendar days without taking action . The City of McAllen, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.  Applicable Product Categories: 91522 Communications Marketing Services; 91876 Marketing Consulting CITY OF MCALLEN – PURCHASING & CONTRACTING DEPARTMENT
