The Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) is currently seeking to select one or more firms capable of providing localized surveying and related consulting services across all the various business unit operations of OUC, including but not limited to the following: landfills, substations, overhead and underground transmission lines, and remediation sites. The work includes but is not limited to the following: 1) performing boundary, as-built, topographic, geodetic control, hydrographic (including bathymetric), construction layout, wetland and contamination delineation locations, quantity, and right-of-way surveys, including GPR, LIDAR, and photogrammetric technology; 2) establishing locations and elevations of monitoring wells, piezometers, other hydrological measuring equipment to 2nd and 3rd order accuracy in both NAVD88 and NGVD29; 3) mapping flood plain elevations; 4) mapping wetland boundaries that meet the Army Corps of Engineers and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection requirements; 5) providing subsurface utility engineering services related to the designation, verification of vertical and horizontal location (VVH), and surveying and mapping of subsurface utilities in Florida; 6) performing ROW survey services on linear facilities; 7) preparing and reviewing legal descriptions; 8) performing area and volume calculations based on survey information; and 9) providing all survey information in latest version of AutoCAD and GIS ESRI Shape
