SynopsisThe Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898, on behalf of the Integrated Fires/Rapid Capabilities Office (IF/RCO) Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Fixed Site, Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Integrated Defeat System (FS-LIDS), hereby issues the following Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) to ascertain the level of interest of potential vendors desiring to contract for a mutli mission radar. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested parties' expense.This RFI is to seek information from prospective manufacturers for the production and sustainment of the AN/TPQ-50 MMR, CUAEWS, Nighthawk EO/IR camera, and Direction Finding (OF) sensors, which are all components of the Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aircraft System Integrated Defeat System (LIDS) Family of Systems. IF/RCO seeks information from industry and potential manufacturers on possible approaches for manufacturing, pricing, and commercial viability considerations for development of the AN/TPQ-50 MMR, CUAEWS, Nighthawk EO/IR camera, and Direction Finding (OF) sensors.The AN/TPQ-50 MMR, CUAEWS, Nighthawk EO/IR camera, and Direction Finding (OF) sensors are presumed to have no equivalents; however, it is possible that an equivalent or potentially superior product or system may be found or become available.Purpose and LimitationsThis RFI is issued solely for information, planning purposes and market research only; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP or Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP.
