NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF LAUDERHILL is seeking sealed proposals for the following work as specified:
 
LAUDERHILL SPORTS PARK – BASEBALL FIELD LIGHTING
RFP NUMBER: 2019-001
CITY OF LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA
 
The City of Lauderhill will be accepting sealed bids up to 10:45 A.M.  EST, on October 24, 2018, in the City Clerk’s Office, 5581 West Oakland Boulevard, Suite 421, Lauderhill, Florida 33313 and will be opened at 11:00 A.M. in Room 135. Proposals received after 10:45 A.M. will not be considered and will be returned unopened.  
 
The intent of this project is to provide electrical power to the existing baseball field sports lighting and existing irrigation pump station. In general, the work includes but not limited to:
 
Site preparation, removal/demolition of the existing wiring and conduits to existing baseball field light poles and irrigation pump as indicated on construction drawings, excavation and

backfilling, replace electrical breakers for lights and pump, install new electrical circuits (wiring and conduit) from existing electrical panels to existing light poles/pump and other associated incidentals required for a fully operational Sports lighting system and irrigation pump. All work shall be coordinated with related work for the installation of said equipment.
 
An original and four (4) copies and an electronic copy of the proposal must be received in sealed envelopes bearing the words “ RFP Number 2019-001 Lauderhill Sports Park – Baseball Field Lighting” and should be hand-delivered or mailed to the City Clerk, City of Lauderhill, 5581 West Oakland Park Boulevard, Suite 421, Lauderhill, Florida 33313. E-mailed and faxed proposals will not be accepted.
 
All bidders must register online with the City of Lauderhill at http://www.lauderhill-fl.gov.
 
Contract Documents may be examined and obtained on and after October 1, 2018 at the City’s website or DemandStar.
