Caltrans is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms that may lead to the award of a contract for on-call Best Management Practices (BMP) Development, BMP Effectiveness, Evaluation and Water Quality Monitoring services.
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will require the submittal of an electronic PDF file of the Statement of Qualifications (SQQ) as stated in Section IV "Submission of Statements of Qualifications (SQQ)".
The work shall be performed to evaluate and analyze water quality within the State transportation system within the limits of
District 11 and 12. The specific location of the work to be performed shall be identified in each Task Order.
Unless modified by Addenda, RFQ Requirements Question & Answer (Q&A's) must be received no later than seven (7) business days after RFQ advertisement.
The Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Participation Program applies and a five percent (5%) goal is required for this RFQ. Caltrans is committed to meeting the State¿s 25 percent Small Business (SB) participation goal. Certified SBs, Microbusinesses (MB), and consultants willing to commit to subcontracting a minimum of 25 percent of the contract amount to certified SBs or MBs are encouraged to submit Statements of Qualifications.

It is the responsibility of the consultants/subs/vendors to identify teams that may be submitting an Statement of Qualification¿s. The Department has no way of identifying companies or entities that have downloaded the project documents for teaming purposes.
