COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION SATELLITE INTERNET SERVICES IN RURAL ALASKA(PREVIOUS AWARD: DOCBG133W16SE1067)(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.(II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NWWV99062200002VES.(III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-07 (SEP 2021) (Deviation 2020-11) (AUG 2020).(IV) This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 517410. The small business size
standard is $35M.(V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial services and products:QTY 6, 12 Months Hughes Net HX 220 Service Minimum of 128kbps upload, and 256kbps download Internet plan, unlimited upload allowance, minimum 220MB download, maintain existing static IP addresses at each location, continuous coverage of Alaska from Akutan to Craig, in-state point of contact for service and support.(VI) Description of requirements is as follows: This procurement is for VSAT Satellite internet service compatible with existing Hughes Net equipment.The places where internet will be used are:Middleton Island, Akutan, Chignik Bay, Old Harbor, Sparrevohn, and Yukatat. All sites are in Alaska.See attached Statement of Work for full list of requirements. (VII) PERIOD OF PERFORMANCEBase Year: 12/1/2021-11/30/2022Option Year 1: 12/1/2022-11/30/2023Option Year 2: 12/1/2023-11/30/2024Option Year 3: 12/1/2024-11/30/2025Option Year 4: 12/1/2025-11/30/2026COVID19Federal COVID19 protocols, all on-site contractor employees will be required to complete the non-Federal Employee and Visitor Certification Form attached and carry a copy with them when reporting to any DOC worksite. Additionally, those who do not certify they are fully vaccinated, or who decline to provide vaccination status, must obtain a negative COVID-19 test in order to access a DOC operating location or facility, per Senior Procurement Executive Message, provided upon request.
