THIS SOURCES SOUGHT POSTING IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL:BackgroundThe Library hosts an annual concert series, book talks, research orientations, and film screenings for the general public. Individual event capacities range from 10-1200 people and there are approximately 500 events requiring a ticketing service per fiscal year. Approximately 25,000 tickets are distributed per fiscal year.The Library has the following requirements for the online platform: accessibility, direct management of the ticketing, notification services, event management services, activity reporting data/analytics services, calendar integration, social media integration, technical support and training, PII protections, and ticketing services must be provided free-of-charge to the Library of Congress as well as free for all patrons for no cost events.The Government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price Contract.Anticipated Period of Performance: Five years, one base year and four option years Sources Sought
InstructionsThis sources sought is a market research tool being used to (a) solicit industry input on the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) and (b) determine potential sources that are capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP).Specifically, the Library wishes industry feedback on the following questions:Is the draft SOW clear and comprehensive enough for offers to be made? Please provide feedback on areas of the SOW that need clarification and/or more information; specifically any barriers to free and open competition and any text in the sow that is vague or unclear to prospective offerors.The Library would like an event ticketing system for patrons to register for free tickets and/or to pay for event tickets. In addition, the Library would like to have an add-on feature that allows patrons to purchase books along with the free or pay for event tickets. Does such capability exist? Interested parties are invited to submit a capability statement package, including responses to questions, inputs to the draft SOW, and relevant experience and expertise. All responses must include the following information: Company Name; Company Address; and Point-of-Contact (POC) name, phone number, and e-mail address.
