Red River Army Depot (RRAD), as the Army's premiere source for wheeled ground vehicle production, maintenance, and repair, requires a Contractor to overhaul an estimated 450 total cabs for the following vehicle variants: M915A3 Tractor, National Stock Numbers (NSNs) 2510-01-527-3348 and 2510-01-480-2400(SN J21547 and below), M917A1 Dump Trucks (NSN) 2510-01-450-7685 and M917A2 Dump Trucks (NSN) 2510-01-518-5978. Actual quantities are driven by vehicle production orders RRAD receives from DoD units worldwide. The Contractor will restore each cab to Condition Code A (Serviceable, Issuable Without Qualification) and deliver it to RRAD suitable for installation on vehicle chassis on the RRAD assembly line. RRAD will provide the cabs to the Contractor in Condition Code F (Repairable) for pickup at its Hooks, TX facility.A draft Performance Work Statement is attached to this Announcement. RRAD will host a site visit in late March 2018 to allow prospective offerors to view a sample lot of cabs and ask technical questions. Pre-registration is free, open to all interested vendors, and attendance is strongly encouraged. Instructions will be posted to FedBizOpps once a specific date and time is known.The closing date for this notice is March 16, 2018. The solicitation, when released, will result in a contract with three ordering years. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. The place of performance will be the contractor's facility.
