Legal Notice Request for Bids: Abatement and Demolition Projects; Renwood Elementary, PSH, Parkview Parma City School District NOTICE TO BIDDERS Bids will be received by the Treasurer of the Parma City School District, at the Board of Education Offices, 5311 Longwood Avenue, Parma, Ohio 44134 for the following Project: Renwood Elementary School Abatement & Demolition Project and Parma Senior High School and Parkview Building Abatement & Demolition Project Parma Senior High School 6285 West 54 th St Parma OH 44129 Renwood Elementary School 8020 Deerfield Dr Parma OH 44129 Parkview Building 5210 Loya Parkway Parma OH 44129 in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by: GPD Group 520 South Main Street Suite 2531 Akron, Ohio 44311 Any proposed equal for a Standard shall be submitted to the Architect no later than ten (10) days prior to the bid opening. If no Addenda are issued in association with the Bidder’s request, the proposed Equal shall be considered

rejected. Sealed bids will be received for: Renwood Elementary: Bid Package No. A – Abatement – estimate is $250,000.00 Bid Package No. B – Demolition – estimate is $460,000.00 Parma Senior High School and Parkview Building: Bid Package No. A – Abatement – estimate is $1,339,000.00 Bid Package No. B – Demolition – estimate is $3,070,000.00 until Monday, April 3, 2023 at 1:00 pm local time, when they will be opened and read aloud. Bids shall be submitted in duplicate in opaque sealed envelopes marked “Renwood Elementary Abatement & Demolition Project” and “Parma Senior High School and Parkview Building Abatement & Demolition Project” and on the Bid Forms provided. If a bidder wishes to submit a combination bid for both bid packages within the same project, both forms shall be included in one envelope with the same bidder information. If a bidder wishes to submit a combination bid for bid packages across both projects, the Combination Bid Form shall be included along with the individual Bid Forms for each project, submitted in one envelope for each project. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond (per section 153.571 (ORC) in the amount of (100%) of the highest aggregate amount of the base bid plus all add alternates submitted by the bidder, or a certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of that bid. The Parma City School District reserves the right to waive informalities, to accept or reject any and all or parts of any and all bids, in whole or part or any combination thereof or award the contract to other than the lowest bidder. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the closing time and receipt of bids. This notice is published in the Plain Dealer.
