REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES   The City of Bismarck Event Center Department requests written qualifications from professional Architectural and Engineering firms for services for the following:   Provide Site Analysis, Schematic Design, Design Development, Contract Documents, Bidding, and Construction Administration Services for the space needs for the Arena locker room area.   The service expectations for the projects include site analysis and schematic, civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscaping design. Cost estimates for the facility project must be provided as an integral part of the design effort.    Written proposals shall address the firm’s experience and ability to perform the defined services in a timely manner. The primary items for consideration will be, but are not limited to, the firms:

  Technical capabilities of the firm and proposed project team Experience and performance of the firm and proposed project team Understanding of project and proposed work approach Knowledge of regulations and local conditions Project personnel assignments and qualifications Ability to respond in a timely manner   The Architect/Engineer will be selected based upon Statements of Qualification and oral interviews.  A selection committee will recommend a single firm to the Board of City Commissioners.  A detailed scope of work will be developed, and the price will be negotiated with the selected firm.  Failure to reach an agreement acceptable to the City of Bismarck will result in negotiation with the second most qualified firm.  A professional services agreement will be executed with a single firm.   All inquiries shall be directed to Charlie Jeske, Director, City of Bismarck (701) 355-1370.   Qualifications Statements from consultants will be accepted until 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 2, 2021.   Submit eight (8) copies of the proposal to: Charlie Jeske Director 315 South 5 th Street  Bismarck, ND 58504 Telephone (701) 355-1370
