The Burlington Department of Public Works – Water Resources Division (“DPW-WRD”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide both scheduled (annual / biennial) and on-call underwater infrastructure inspection, cleaning and repair services starting in calendar year 2022 and extending through calendar year 2026. Qualified firms will possess technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, references, and related prior experience to complete the projects described in this Request for Proposals (“RFP”). Specifically, the City is seeking a qualified firm with the following expertise: 1. Capacity, knowledge, experience and ability to safely perform underwater infrastructure inspections, cleaning and remedial repairs. 2. Experience in developing thorough and clear documentation of underwater infrastructure inspection, cleaning and repair services. Services will include the inspection (and cleaning as indicated) of the following underwater infrastructure; 1. Main Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) outfall located in Burlington Bay – annual and biennial (once every two (2) years) inspections 2. Water Treatment Plant (WTP) water intake located in Burlington Bay – annual inspection and cleaning 3. Winooski River Sewer Crossing at Heineberg Bridge (#1) – biennial inspection 4.
