Description: The Tift County Board of Assessors requestS proposals for a Real Property Revaluation. Items requested for the revaluation consist of the following: • Development of cost schedules for all improvement types. • Physical field review of all real parcels, to include photos, measurement verification, addition, and measurement of newly discovered improvements, including verification of non-prebill mobile homes. • All information will need to be entered into the county’s CAMA system. • Develop neighborhood and location adjustment tables and apply where marked conditions dictate. • Development of Urban land schedules. • Development of small acre breakpoint. • Classification of small tract according to accessibility and desirability. • Classification of tracts above the small acre breakpoint (large tracts) as open land, woodland, and ponds. • Development of accessibility/desirability schedule with adjustments for size, location, and characteristics. • Provide narrative descriptions of all land schedules and their components. • Review and edit all data prior to the mailing of assessment notices. • Provide weekly updates to the Chief Appraiser and present monthly updates to the Board of Assessors at their meetings. • Provide appraisers to review and represent the county in hearings for appeals. Tift County currently consists of approximately 19,150 parcels. The Board of Assessors respectfully requests that all work be completed for the 2023 tax digest.
