Project: Project Management Services for Saanich Operations Centre Redevelopment Ref. #: RFP 23-009 Type: NRFP Status: Open Open Date: Jan 26th 2023, 4:00 PM PST Contact Information: Jean-Sebastien Garon, purchase@saanich.ca Close Date: Mar 3rd 2023, 3:00 PM PST Days Left: < 1 Project Description:This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the District of Saanich (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Project Management Services for Saanich Operations Centre Redevelopment (the “Project”), as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The District intends to select one (1) qualified proponent or proponent team (the “Consultant”), experienced in construction project management, to represent the District’s interests (the “Owner”) in developing the new Saanich Operations Centre located at 1040 McKenzie Ave and adjacent

properties. The services are anticipated to require full-time presence for the period of March 2023 to Project completion anticipated in the falls of 2028 or 2029. Continuity of personnel will be required during the term of the contract. The successful Consultant (and back-up) must be available and shall remain consistent throughout the duration of the term of this Project, and any necessary changes to the contact person are subject to the District’s approval. The Consultant will act as the District’s Representative and therefore will not be permitted to act as construction manager or general contractor, have any interest or affiliation with the general contractor, eligible to participate as a bidder, subcontractor, manufacturer, or material supplier for the subsequent construction work of this Project.
