All proposals will be due on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 2:00 pm local time.Questions concerning the Request for Proposals should be submitted through the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement.Verbal submitted quotations will not be accepted. The City of Brentwood reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informalities in a proposal, and to

accept any proposal, which, in its opinion, may be for the best interest of the City.BackgroundThe Brentwood Historic Commission has developed a unique concept for a three-walled pavilion that will pay homage to the former Brentvale cabin by incorporating the existing chimneys and reclaimed timber material from that historic structure. It was anticipated that two RFPs would be required for this project. The first RFP sought proposals for full design (foundation, electrical, and all vertical components) and construction of the base structure of the pavilion and roof deck. Following that RFP, the City entered into a contract with Homestead Timber Frames. This second RFP will select a general contractor (Homestead is not a GC) to pull the appropriate permits, conduct soil testing, install wall framing and windows, splitting the timbers into siding, installation of the siding, and installation of the roof surface.
