mailto:TLeatham@cityofboise.org INVITATION TO PROPOSE The City of Boise, Idaho, invites you to submit a sealed Proposal (Statement of Qualifications) for: RFQ2024- 065: Hazardous Materials, Remediation Services and Waste Disposal Proposals will be prepared per the specifications detailed within the Solicitation document(s). Proposal packets are available at no charge with registration through JAGGAER (links provided on City Website: www.cityofboise.org). The City of Boise Public Works Department is seeking Proposals (Request for Qualifications) from experienced firms to provide personnel, equipment, and resources as On-Call Emergency Environmental Services for situations, incidents or accidents requiring emergency response, containment, transport and/or clean-up services throughout the City, to include incidents occurring at the Boise Airport and other City Departments as needed. The most common types of response at Boise Airport would be expected to be accidental release of petroleum products (i.e., jet fuel), sanitary sewer waste, glycols and antifreezes, and lavatory truck spills. Services may involve any combination of response, coordination, planning, containing, cleaning, transporting, and/or disposing of any combination of hazardous and/or non-hazardous materials or substances intentionally or unintentionally released into the environment. Services will be conducted and completed in accordance with all local, state, and federal guidelines for the management of hazardous and non-hazardous materials or substances. Services are to be provided on an as-needed basis under a task order process. Multiple Contractors may be selected for services to be provided under this RFQ. The Selected Contractor(s) will treat, transport, and dispose of hazardous wastes adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, permits and waste acceptance criteria including but not limited to those promulgated by the State of Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and United States Environmental Protection Agency. The selected Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, analytical testing (if required), documentation, supervision, and delivery of same to perform emergency response and remediation services. In determining the best qualified proposal, Purchasing will consider all acceptable proposals on a basis consistent with RFQ requirements. The City of Boise reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, to waive any irregularities in the Proposals received and to accept the Proposal(s) that are in the best interest of the City. In the event of a technology failure, the City reserves the right to accept all Proposals submitted and electronically time stamped prior to Proposal opening.
