Prime Consultant Services for Alberta Parks Concession Building and Toilet Buildings Refurbishments at Aspen Beach Provincial Park Project Description :Aspen Beach Provincial Park is located approximately 35km NW of Red Deer, Alberta and 20km West of Lacombe, Alberta. This Provincial Park is one of largest camping designations in Alberta. The Park is comprised of 3 designations: Lakeview Campground, Brewer's Campground and Ebeling Day Use Area. The purpose of this RFP is to invite Vendors who demonstrate the necessary qualifications and experience, relative to the scope and nature of this project for the following work within Aspen Beach Provincial Park: • Assessment and Detailed Design of the following work: o Concession Building Refurbishment o Two Public Ebeling Washroom Building Refurbishment o Five smaller Comfort Station Building Refurbishment o Three Vault toilet Refurbishments o Barrier-free sites (8) at Lakeview and Brewers Campground Design work will begin on a design package which will include assessment of historical documents and on site review with Parks Staff, then using all information to produce acceptable Concept plans for all Refurbishments (Concession Building, 2 Public Washroom buildings, 5 Comfort Stations, 3 vaults toilets, 8 barrier free sites). The Consultant will prepare progressive review sets of drawings and specifications as well as cost estimates and will prepare a finalized “Issued for Tender” set of bid documents. Design work will be completed in Summer/Fall 2023 with completion in the Winter
