NATO International Competitive Bidding (ICB): Acquisition of Passenger Vehicle (Bus)

The Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) intends to issue an Invitation for International Bidding (IFIB) for the acquisition of one passenger vehicle (bus) for its headquarters in Stavanger, Norway.  Potential U.S. prime contractors must 1) maintain a professionally active facility within the United States; 2) be approved for participation in NATO International Competitive Bidding (ICB); 3) be issued a Declaration of Eligibility (DOE) by the U.S. Government; and 4) have performed at least one contract within the last three years substantially similar in scope and in magnitude to the requirement described in the solicitation.In addition, the company must have warranty approved service, support and maintenance possibilities in close vicinity of the delivery location. Contractor personnel performing services under the contract must be citizens of a NATO nation and have appropriate professional training and experience in a related field.Partial bidding is not authorized. The reference for the IFIB

is IFIB-ACT-JWC-20-98 and all correspondence regarding the IFIB should include that reference. REQUIREMENTThe planned acquisition is for one bus with 57+ seats. Bidders must have the possibility to perform local service and maintenance in the Stavanger area at an approved brand name provider.BECOMING ELIGIBLE TO BID  NATO ICB requires that the U.S. Government issue a DOE for potential U.S. prime contractors interested in this contract.
