Description Scope of Services The City of Bakersfield is requesting bids from experienced and reputable contractors for providing an Annual Contract for SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE. Award, if any, resulting from this Invitation to Bid shall be for a one (1) year period. Contract shall be renewable annually thereafter for four (4) consecutive one-year periods at the City’s option and upon mutually agreeable terms. One (1) original bid signed by an official authorized to bind contractor and one (1) copy of the signed bid, are to be submitted to the Purchasing Division, Attention: Kim Berrigan, Purchasing Officer, 1600 Truxtun Avenue, Second Floor, Bakersfield, CA 93301, on or before 11:00 a.m., February 14, 2023. Please review it carefully. This is the contract the successful Bidder is expected to execute without alteration. If any changes are desired, they must be submitted to the City for approval prior to bid opening. If approved, the changes will be made public for all prospective bidders. Bidder shall not be allowed to alter or negotiate contract language after the acceptance of Bidder’s proposal.
