City Office Space Standards Description :- The City of Los Angeles (City) seeks to engage a consultant to develop new City Office Space Standards. In developing these standards, the Consultant will: (a) analyze the City's current Space Standards and determine inefficiencies per industry standards; (b) consider the changes in technology and workplace environment, which includes telecommuting and hybrid work schedules, etc., to develop flexible workspace options, such as desk-sharing, hoteling, or collaborative areas to optimize the space; (c) obtain stakeholder input; (d) develop architectural drawings for the proposed space standards; and (e) perform a “test-to-fit” analysis that incorporates the proposed City Office Space Standards at the Marvin Braude Municipal Building (Braude Building) to illustrate the space efficiencies gained as a result of the proposed space standards. Proposals for this Task Order Solicitation (TOS) will only be accepted from firms on the City Administrative Officer’s (CAO) updated list of Pre-Qualified Real Estate and Economic Development Consultants in Service Area 5: Master Planning, Site Planning, and Project Management (Attachment A) approved by City Council on June 15, 2022 (CF 12-1549).
