Heritage Park address is 14025 W. 159th Street, Olathe, KS 66062. This project includes the mechanical dredging of sediments (176,000 CY) and native earthen materials (50,000 CY) within Heritage Park Lake (40 acres) and approximately 1,500 feet of stream to restore lake volume. The work is phased to maintain the irrigation water supply within the lake during construction activities. Individual work

phase areas will be dewatered prior to dredging. Dredged materials will be disposed of on-site within 3,500 feet of the lake in five (5) disposal areas, each with a water quality treatment train adjacent that will be constructed and maintained through construction. Lake improvements are also part of this work including the construction of a sediment forebay (40,000 CY), wetland area (to be planted by a pre-qualified restoration contractor by a separate RFP ), and water control structure; removal of existing infrastructure and island within the lake; and creation of deep-water cells for water quality and fish habitat.
